Hill.com is building the operating system to power the private markets. Founded by Andrew Benson, Hill is a marketplace for retail investors to trade pre-IPO companies. Hill is backed by HF0 and advised by the former president of Charles Schwab and Fidelity. Prior to Hill, Andrew founded River.com, a Bitcoin financial services company managing $3B in assets and backed by top venture capital firms (M13, Polychain, Craft Ventures, Slow Ventures, and Peter Thiel).

Hill is on a mission to bring the private markets to every household by 2030. We are starting with the ability to trade pre-IPO companies such as SpaceX, OpenAI, and more. The current state of pre-IPO stock trading is that transactions often take 60 days to close—we bring this down to 60 seconds.

## The role

Hill is building beautiful, complex financial interfaces. Picture a convergence of big corp and fintech - powerful yet accessible, data-rich yet clean.

**What you'll build**

- **Pixel-perfect trading interfaces** — Build UIs that handle complex financial data with smooth, performant experiences (no janky animations, no console spam)
- **Regulatory compliance workflows** — Implement complex forms and workflows that meet strict regulatory requirements
- **Mobile trading platform** — Own our mobile strategy and execution (React Native vs Swift UI)
- **Data visualization** — Make financial data beautiful and understandable for retail investors
- **Trust-critical interfaces** — Build interfaces that users trust with their money

**About you**

- You're obsessed with performance - you hate unnecessary re-renders
- You can implement any design perfectly without asking "is this 14px or 15px?"
- Your useEffect count is inversely proportional to your experience
- You've built production mobile apps (React Native or Swift)
- You ship code daily - we are builders, not managers
- You understand that in fintech, UI bugs are not acceptable
- You care about the business, not just the pixels
- You code 80%+ of your time and want to keep it that way
- You're familiar with our tech stack (NextJS, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, GraphQL, React Native/Swift UI, GCP, Kubernetes)
