About Hill
Hill.com is building the operating system to power the private markets. Founded by Andrew Benson, Hill is a marketplace for retail investors to trade pre-IPO companies. Hill is backed by HF0 and advised by the former president of Charles Schwab and Fidelity. Prior to Hill, Andrew founded River.com, a Bitcoin financial services company managing $2B in assets and backed by top venture capital firms (M13, Polychain, Craft Ventures, Slow Ventures, and Peter Thiel).
Hill is on a mission to bring the private markets to every household by 2030. We are starting with the ability to trade pre-IPO companies such as SpaceX, OpenAI, and more. The current state of pre-IPO stock trading is that transactions often take 60 days to close—we bring this down to 60 seconds.
We are forming a small team of highly talented individuals in San Francisco to achieve our ambitious mission. We are looking for a versatile and dynamic Chief of Staff to join our leadership team.
What we’re looking for
We're not looking for a specific resume or traditional career path—we're seeking an exceptional individual with founder potential who's ready to help build something transformative. Your background matters less than your capabilities, drive, and desire to eventually launch your own venture. This role is designed as a masterclass in company-building and offers exposure to all aspects of scaling a fintech startup.
You might be the ideal candidate if:
You are highly intelligent, self-motivated, and possess a strong sense of urgency
You have a high EQ and bring out the best in others
You have a desire to be a founder and value an opportunity to sharpen your abilities as an executive to fundraise, build a product, and hire/manage a team
You have some technical abilities that are helpful in improving efficiency and automating key processes
You have 1+ years of experience at a venture capital firm, family office, or technology startup (Series B or earlier)
What you’ll do
As Chief of Staff, you'll function as the founder's strategic partner and operational leader—a mini CEO/COO/CFO with visibility across all aspects of our rapidly growing company.
Act as a thought partner to the CEO, helping to refine and execute the company's vision and strategy by managing special projects and strategic initiatives
Develop, implement, and refine key processes relating to client operations, financial operations, and data operations
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Assist with fundraising efforts, including investor relations and pitch preparation
What we offer
Competitive salary and equity package
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
Opportunity to shape a high-growth fintech company
Accelerated career growth and development
